Welcome to Extraskills! These User Guidelines govern your conduct when using our platform, courses, community features, and related services. By registering or participating, you agree to follow these guidelines.

1. Community Standards

Extraskills is committed to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and productive learning community. All users are expected to:

• Treat fellow learners, instructors, and staff with respect and courtesy
• Engage in constructive and meaningful discussions

• Help create a supportive and positive atmosphere

2. Acceptable Use

When using our platform, you agree to:

• Use the platform solely for personal educational purposes
• Provide accurate information during registration and enrolment
• Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others
• Access only the courses and content you have legitimately purchased or been granted access to
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on Extraskills:

• Content piracy: Downloading, recording, screen-capturing, or redistributing course materials in any form
• Account sharing: Sharing your login credentials or allowing others to access your account
• Harassment: Bullying, intimidating, or threatening other users, instructors, or staff
• Spam and promotion: Posting unsolicited advertisements, promotional content, or affiliate links in community spaces
• Impersonation: Pretending to be another user, instructor, or Extraskills staff member
• Hate speech: Content that promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or sexual orientation
• Cheating: Submitting plagiarised work, using unfair means in assessments, or falsifying certificates
• Malicious activity: Uploading viruses, attempting to hack or disrupt platform services, or exploiting vulnerabilities

4. Content Sharing and Intellectual Property

All course materials, including videos, PDFs, templates, and resources, are the intellectual property of Extraskills and its instructors. Users must:

• Not reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any course content without written permission
• Not create derivative works from our course materials
• Respect copyright notices and watermarks on all materials
• Report any unauthorised sharing of content they encounter

5. Account Responsibilities

As an Extraskills user, you are responsible for:

• All activity that occurs under your account
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access at Support@extraskills.live
• Keeping your profile information current and accurate
• Logging out from shared or public devices after each session

6. Communication Etiquette

When participating in community features such as Q&A forums, live sessions, or WhatsApp groups:

• Stay on topic and contribute constructively
• Do not post off-topic, repetitive, or disruptive messages
• Use professional and courteous language
• Avoid sharing personal contact information publicly
• Follow the instructions of moderators and session hosts

8. Enforcement and Consequences

Violation of these guidelines may result in the following actions, at our sole discretion:

• Warning: A formal notice for minor or first-time violations
• Temporary suspension: Restricted access to the platform for a specified period
• Permanent ban: Immediate and permanent removal from the platform without refund
• Legal action: Pursuit of legal remedies for serious violations, including content piracy or fraud

The severity of the action depends on the nature, frequency, and impact of the violation.

9. Updates to These Guidelines

We may update these User Guidelines from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of Extraskills after any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
